The internet connection being what is it, I can’t upload the beautiful video I had of a taxi trip amongst Dakar’s roadworks. This means I can’t do any ranting about the Islamic conference either, which I am, as you can imagine, most disappointed about. Getting to work today was the same as every day, which was also a disappoitment, but hopefully things will get tougher come Thursday. We have had a few explosions at night, although I’l not sure whether they’re linked to the OCI…Anyway. Here’s a photo of fish delivery on Tonghor beach this weekend. We spent a wonderful Sunday on the beach again (no sunburn this time!) with the kiddies, grilled devilfish and tuna, and ended up eating an enormous bowl of rice too. Then we watched the wrestling, followed up by football for some (4-2 for OL!), and colouring with the kiddies for others. So restful :-)
